Land Auction Results - November 2021

WOW! What a month for Iowa auction sales.  Iowa saw over 300 tracts go to auction, offering greater than 30,000 acres!  That’s nearly twice as many auctions as we saw in October.  The average dollar per gross acre was $11,791, with an average dollar per tillable acre of $13,528 and a dollar per CSR2 of $168.  That’s nearly $12/CSR2 more than the Q3 average of $156/CSR2.

Peoples Company stayed busy in November, with 13 auctions in Iowa and three out of state, selling more than 8,100 acres across the country.

Dollar per CSR2 was calculated only for those tracts containing greater than 85% tillable with minimal improvement contribution.
