Land Auction Results from Around Iowa

PRICE/ACRE UPDATE

There were 4 tracts of land sold successfully at auction between May 8th and May 12th.  During these auctions, there was a total of 240 +/- acres available for purchase and of those acres, 187 +/- were tillable acres.  The Price/Acre ranges from $6,100/acre for pasture land in South-Central Iowa to $13,800/acre for tillable land in Northwest Iowa.   

A few of the highlights from last week:

  • 33 acres sold in Madison County for $7,500/acre with a CSR2 of 77.6
  • 20 acres sold in Madison County for $7,500/acre with a CSR2 of 70.9
  • 133.55 acres sold in Marion County for $6,100/acre with a CSR2 of 81.8
  • 53.77 acres sold in Plymouth County for $13,800/acre with a CSR2 of 83.6
