December 2018 Iowa Land Auction Results

The land market in Iowa for highly tillable farms has shown stability throughout 2018 with average sale price between $110/CSR2 and $115/CSR2. That said, the land market has shown a reduction in value from the fourth quarter of 2017 to the fourth quarter of 2018. The average $/CSR2 point for highly tillable farms that sold at auction in the fourth quarter of 2017 was $122 while the average in the fourth quarter of 2018 was $112.
