There were three tracts of land that sold at auction between May 12th and May 19th and all three properties were located in South-Central Iowa. During these auctions, there was a total of 96 +/- acres available for purchase and of those acres, 50 +/- were tillable acres. According to our records, there are 28 land auctions scheduled between now and July 12th with a total of 50 tracts being marketed for sale. Although the number of auctions that have come online has increased in the last week, the inventory of farms for sale remains low.

Here are the results from last week:

• 40 acres of recreational/pasture land sold in Decatur County for $4,938/acre
• 35.2 acres of tillable land sold in Wayne County for $3,400/acre with a CSR2 of 51.2
