PRICE/ACRE UPDATE

There were 15+ tracts of land sold at auction between March 25th and March 31st.  During these auctions, there was a total of 1,526 +/- acres available for purchase and of those acres, 1,319 +/- were tillable acres.  The Price/Acre ranges from $2,900/acre for pasture/timber land in West-Central Iowa to $11,458/acre for tillable land in Northeast Iowa.   

A few of the highlights from last week:

• 48 acres sold in Delaware County for $11,458/acre with a CSR2 of 88.2
• 78 acres sold in Scott County for $9,600/acre with a CSR2 of 69.1
• 117 acres sold in Delaware County for $9,500/acre with a CSR2 of 84.3
• 80.54 acres sold in Ida County for $6,000/acre with a CSR2 of 55.1
• 80 acres sold in Lucas County for $4,900/acre with a CSR2 of 53.4
