Weekly Auction Results: 3/27/22–4/2/22

Iowa saw 18 tracts sell last week, with an average dollar per acre of $11,530, average dollar per tillable acre of $13,409 and an average dollar per CSR2 of $190.  This is up 5% from the previous week, and up 9% from Q1 2022's average.

The high sale of the week was a close call:  There was a 75.9 acre Kossuth Co. farm that sold for $16,000/acre or $252.66/CSR2.  There was also a 65 acre Sioux Co. farm that sold for $20,500/acre or $252.25/CSR2.  The Sioux Co. farm sold for more per acre, but the Kossuth sold for pennies more per CSR2.

Peoples Company had several great sales, including a Clayton Co. farm that sold for $246.67/CSR2.
