Weekly Auction Results: 2/20/22–2/26/22

Auction activity picked up this week, and Iowa saw 32 tracts or 3,087 acres sell at public auction (this is up from the previous week's 17 tracts / 1,954 acres).  These tracts brought an average dollar per acre of $11,706, average dollar per tillable acre of $14,527 and an average dollar per CSR2 of $182.  This is up 2% from the previous week and 7% from Q4 2021.

The high sale of the week went to a Plymouth County cropland farm: 133.2 acres selling for $20,075 per acre, or $240 per CSR2.  It was 97% tillable with a CSR2 of 86.3.
