PRICE/ACRE UPDATE

There were 21 tracts of land that sold at auction between September 23rd and September 29th. During these auctions, there was a total of 2,330 +/- acres available for purchase and of those acres, 2,013 +/- were tillable acres. 

A few of the highlights from last week:

• 69 acres of tillable land sold in Carroll County for $8,400/acre with a CSR2 of 78.2 on the tillable acres.
• 38 acres of tillable and recreational land sold in Guthrie County for $6,630/acre with a CSR2 of 71.0 on the tillable acres.
• 137 acres of tillable and CRP land sold in Osceola County for $6,750/acre with a CSR2 of 84.3 on the tillable acres.
• 36 acres of recreational land sold in Appanoose County for $2,400/acre.
• 36 acres of tillable land sold in Buena Vista County for $10,000/acre with a CSR2 of 87.8 on the tillable acres.
• 193 acres of tillable land sold in Buena Vista County for $7,600/acre with a CSR2 of 84.7 on the tillable acres.
• 295 acres of tillable land sold in Cedar County for $8,700/acre with a CSR2 of 82.0 on the tillable acres.
• 73 acres of tillable land sold in Buchanan County for $8,300/acre with a CSR2 of 84.7 on the tillable acres.
