PRICE/ACRE UPDATE

There were eight tracts of land that sold at auction between August 8th and August 11th. During these auctions, there was a total of 666 +/- acres available for purchase and of those acres, 526 +/- were tillable acres. 

A few of the highlights from last week:

• 52 acres of tillable land sold in Polk County for $11,000/acre with a CSR2 of 82.8 on the tillable acres.
• 80 acres of tillable and pasture land sold in Woodbury County for $4,850/acre with a CSR2 of 48.9 on the tillable acres.
• 78 acres of tillable land sold in Story County for $11,500/acre with a CSR2 of 85 on the tillable acres.
• 77 acres of tillable and pasture land sold in Taylor County for $4,700/acre with a CSR2 of 71.5 on the tillable acres.
• 125 acres of tillable land sold in Plymouth County for $10,100/acre with a CSR2 of 81.1 on the tillable acres.
