PRICE/ACRE UPDATE

There were nine tracts of land that sold at auction between August 23^rd and August 24^th. During these auctions, there was a total of 823 +/- acres available for purchase and of those acres, 614 +/- were tillable acres. 

A few of the highlights from last week:

• 80 acres of tillable land sold in Floyd County for $8,360/acre with a CSR2 of 87.4 on the tillable acres.
• 40 acres of tillable land sold in Henry County for $12,000/acre with a CSR2 of 86.9 on the tillable acres.
• 117 acres of tillable and CRP land sold in Henry county for $9,400/acre with a CSR2 of 86.2 on the tillable acres.
• 77 acres of tillable land sold in Dickenson County for $9,300/acre with a CSR2 of 86.7 on the tillable aces.
• 166 acres of recreational land sold in Wayne County for $2,160/acre.
