PRICE/ACRE UPDATE

There were eight tracts of land that sold at auction between August 12th and August 17th. During these auctions, there was a total of 507 +/- acres available for purchase and of those acres, 318 +/- were tillable acres. 

A few of the highlights from last week:

• 36 acres of pasture and timber land sold in Davis County for $2,300/acre.
• 181 acres of CRP and pasture land sold in Madison County for $3,580/acre with a CSR2 of 54.8 on the CRP acres.
• A grain elevator with a storage capacity of 30,000 bushels sold in Story County for $39,000.
• 60 acres of tillable and timber land sold in Mahaska County for $6,200/acre with a CSR2 of 68.5 on the tillable acres.
• 38 acres of tillable land sold in O’Brien County for $12,000/acre with a CSR2 of 95.9 on the tillable acres.
