Peoples Company, a leading provider of land brokerage, management, investment and appraisal services in 19 states, today announced it has entered into two strategic partnerships to strengthen its farm and land management service offering.

The two companies involved are:

• Farm Care, an Elmwood, Illinois-based land management company. The partnership further expands Peoples Company’s reach and adds additional expertise to the firm.

Under the partnership, Farm Care’s Mark Rhea will continue management of current Farm Care farms.  By partnering with Peoples Company, Farm Care will be able to provide brokerage, appraisal and land investment services to current and new clients.

Peoples Company will provide Farm Care access to its Land Management platform, including proprietary Land Management software. The Peoples Company Land Management model focuses on increasing the productivity of a farm utilizing best practices and emerging technologies, while preserving the more sensitive areas of a farm to ensure long-term appreciation of the asset.

Farm Care, which has specialized in Farm Real Estate Services since 1995, currently manages farmland across the state of Illinois. The strategic partnership took effect on February 1, 2018.

• Don Russell Farm Management, an Indianola, Iowa-based company with properties managed in Dallas, Warren and Jefferson counties.

After 53 years of farm management, Don Russell chose to transition clients of his long-time management business to Peoples Company.  In Peoples Company, Russell felt he found an organization with the highest integrity and quality of service.

Russell partnered with Peoples Company on Jan. 1, 2018.  He will remain involved to ensure a seamless transition.
