Craig joined Peoples Company in July of 2022 and was hired to develop and manage the newly established Crop Insurance division. Mr. Nielsen is a third-generation Crop Insurance Agent with over 13 years of industry experience.  Prior work experience includes Farmers National Company - Executive Account Manager/Claims Coordinator/Crop Hail Specialist, Terry Nielsen Agency – Crop Insurance Agent, ProAg - Underwriter and Customer Service Representative.  With his years of experience and family background in the Crop Insurance Industry, he has developed a reputation for quality customer satisfaction, building positive relationships, and excellent problem-solving skills. Craig looks forward to enable the Crop Insurance division of Peoples Company to help assist farmers, ranchers, and land investors to effectively minimize risk and exposure by providing a quality experience in a complex and ever-changing industry.  

Craig is a graduate of Bellevue University with a Bachelor of Science in Business. He grew up in Mapleton, located in West Central Iowa and spent many summers with his family in Okoboji. Craig currently resides in Omaha, NE with his fiancé, Diana, and their two sons, Ashton and Jens.
