Description
The Digital Marketing Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing digital marketing strategies that increase brand awareness, drive traffic, and generate leads or sales. This position manages Peoples Company’s social media presence, driving engagement, and growing the company’s online audience across platforms including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, X (formerly Twitter), and YouTube. The Digital Marketing Manager creates, curates, and schedules content, as well as analyzes metrics from website traffic, social media engagement, and email blast performance to measure the success of digital marketing campaigns as well as make adjustments to future strategies. This position is responsible for elevating the digital profile of Peoples Company, affiliates, the Land Investment Expo, and Steve Bruere. This role supports the company’s mission to provide integrated land solutions and grow brand awareness in the agricultural and land investment industry. The Digital Marketing Manager is a full-time role reporting to the Director of Marketing and is based out of the corporate office.
Responsibilities
Strategy Development
Create and implement comprehensive digital marketing strategies across multiple channels (social media, SEO, paid search, email marketing, content marketing, etc.) to achieve company objectives
Build and maintain a digital marketing calendar that integrates all digital marketing channels
Content Production
Collaborate with divisions and affiliates to ensure the production of high-quality, engaging content that resonates with the target audience
Capture and edit engaging photo and video content for use across platforms
Be comfortable both in front of and behind the camera when creating content
Plan and organize marketing campaigns, including photo shoots and video shoots for team members
Company, Affiliate & Expo Social Media
Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with company goals
Create a monthly marketing schedule for both organic and paid social media content
Clearly communicate and help execute monthly marketing themes working closely with the design team to create necessary graphics
Schedule and post all social media content, including new listings and auctions, product and service launches, blogs and press releases, and other company activities
Create, edit, and schedule compelling and visually engaging content for all platforms, including reels and TikToks
Execute pre- and post-marketing campaigns for company-sponsored webinars and trade shows
Steve Bruere Personal Social Media
Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with business goals
Identify areas of collaboration between Steve and his businesses and execute the necessary actions
Create, edit, and schedule planned monthly content as well as post extemporaneous content as directed by Steve
Community Management
Interact with followers, respond to comments and messages, and foster community relationships
Monitor and manage the company’s online reputation by addressing inquiries and issues
Implement lead generation strategies through various digital channels and nurture leads to improve conversion rates
Paid Advertisements & Search
Plan, execute, and optimize digital marketing campaigns, including paid advertising (PPC), SEO, social media, email, and display advertising
Focus on creating and running ads to drive engagement, brand awareness, and conversions
Manage digital marketing budgets to ensure cost-effective use of resources, optimizing performance within the set budgets
Website & SEO Optimization
Review website analytics to identify areas of improvement and coordinate with the design team to implement changes
Oversee and optimize SEO strategies to improve organic search rankings and SEM efforts to maximize paid ad campaigns' effectiveness
Ensure the generation of high-quality content relevant to target keywords
Enhance website pages with appropriate meta descriptions and titles, as well as building backlinks to the site through outreach
Performance Analysis
Analyze and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the success of digital marketing efforts including website traffic, social media engagement, and email blast performance
Monitor campaign performance using tools like Google Analytics, etc.
Provide regular reports on ROI, performance, and insights for future campaigns
Use analytics to refine strategies and provide actionable recommendations for improvement
Brand Management & Stewardship
Ensure all social media content adheres to Peoples Company’s brand standards and voice
Work closely with the marketing team to maintain a consistent message across all marketing channels
Encourage and challenge all Peoples Company team members and affiliates to engage in company social media and share provided services
Maintain a personal professional social media presence by interacting with social media channels on a weekly basis, including Peoples Company, American Farmland Owner, Steve Bruere, and other affiliates
Research & Innovation
Stay current with emerging social media trends, tools, and technologies to keep Peoples Company at the forefront of the industry
Perform competitor analysis to identify opportunities for differentiation
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field preferred
Three years' experience managing social media for a brand or organization
Demonstrated experience in content creation, including photo and video production
Proven expertise in running successful paid digital and social media advertising campaigns
Strong writing and editing skills with a creative approach to content
Proficiency in social media platforms, scheduling tools, and analytics software
Knowledge of SEO, SEM, and digital advertising platforms
Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
Interest in real estate, agriculture, or land investment is a plus
