Weekly Auction Results: 5/15/22–5/21/22

16 Iowa tracts sold at public auction last week, bringing an average dollar per acre of $9,556; average dollar per tillable acre of $12,907 and an average dollar per CSR2 of $197. This is up 13% from the previous week and Q1 2022's $/CSR2 average.

The top sale of the week went to a Jackson County auction - Tract 1 brought $14,600/acre or $283/CSR2 while Tract 2 brought $17,700/acre or $289/CSR2. Tract 2's south half could be considered pasture, as it has been in hay/alfalfa, but FSA and the auctioneer reported it as cropland, and we calculated it accordingly.
