Weekly Auction Results: 2/13/22–2/19/22

12 tracts sold at public auction last week, with a total of 1,270 acres bringing an average dollar per acre of $12,500.  Eight of these tracts met our criteria for calculating dollar per tillable acre and dollar per CSR2.  The average dollar per tillable was $14,466 bringing the average dollar per CSR2 to $178.  This dollar per CSR2 is up 4% from last week, and up 5% from Q4 2021.

The top dollar per acre sale of the week went to a Lyon County farm that sold for $18,500 per acre.  However, the highest dollar per CSR2 sale went to another tract at that same auction, bringing only $11,100 per acre but $226 per CSR2.  This particular tract had a CSR2 of 51.8, while the other two tillable tracts that sold at that auction were in the high 90s for CSR2.
