PRICE/ACRE UPDATE

There were twenty-seven tracts of land that sold at auction between September 8th and September 15th. During these auctions, there was a total of 2,326 +/- acres available for purchase and of those acres, 2,075 +/- were tillable acres. 

A few of the highlights from last week:

• 130 acres of tillable, timber, and recreational land sold in Pottawattamie County for $5,200/acre with a CSR2 of 70.3 on the tillable acres.
• 80 acres of tillable land sold in Floyd County for $9,400/acre with a CSR2 of 91.9 on the tillable acres.
• 80 acres of tillable land sold in O’Brien County for $12,000 /acre with a CSR2 of 97.4 on the tillable acres.
• 69.7 acres of tillable land sold in Sac County for $8,300/acre with a CSR2 of 87.3 on the tillable acres.
• 80.43 acres of tillable land sold in Lee County for $9,700/acre with a CSR2 of 61.7 on the tillable acres.
• 207 acres of tillable land sold in Cedar County for $7,400/acre with a CSR2 of 74.8 on the tillable acres.
• 40 acres of tillable land sold in Greene County for $12,100/acre with a CSR2 of 86.9 on the tillable acres.
• 160 acres of tillable, pasture, and CRP land sold in Poweshiek County for $4,450/acre with a CSR2 of 70.1 on the tillable acres.
• 153 acres of tillable land sold in Carroll County for $8,800/acre with a CSR2 of 83.9 on the tillable acres.
• 107 acres of tillable land and building site sold in Clayton County for $9,346/acre with a CSR2 of 60.4 on the tillable acres.
