PRICE/ACRE UPDATE

There were 29 tracts of land that sold at auction between September 15th and September 22nd. During these auctions, there was a total of 3,477 +/- acres available for purchase and of those acres, 2,674 +/- were tillable acres. 

A few of the highlights from last week:

• 150 acres of tillable land sold in Cass County for $8,575/acre with a CSR2 of 80.2 on the tillable acres.
• 171.8 acres of tillable land sold in Pocahontas County for $8,800/acre with a CSR2 of 84.3 on the tillable acres.
• 38 acres of tillable land sold in Cedar County for $11,100/acre with a CSR2 of 92.9 on the tillable acres.
• 80 acres of tillable land and CRP land sold in Cerro Gordo County for $7,250/acre with a CSR2 of 79.8 on the tillable acres.
• 232 acres of tillable land sold in Taylor County for $3,775/acre with a CSR2 of 52.0 on the tillable acres.
• 75 acres of pasture land and recreational land sold in Union County for $2,350/acre.
• 159 acres of tillable land sold in Washington County for $8,750/acre with a CSR2 of 77.9 on the tillable acres.
• 246 acres of tillable land and recreational land sold in Allamakee County for $4,725/acre with a CSR2 of 62.6 on the tillable acres.
• 60.14 acres of tillable land sold in Louisa County for $9,100/acre with a CSR2 of 96.6 on the tillable acres.
• 80 acres of tillable land sold in Buchanan County for $12,000/acre with a CSR2 of 88.5 on the tillable acres.
• 208.47 acres of tillable land sold in Guthrie County in two separate tracts for $14,100/acre with a CSR2 of 86.1 on tract #1 and 87.4 on tract #2.
