PRICE/ACRE UPDATE

There were 22 tracts of land that sold at auction between October 21^st  and October 27^th. During these auctions, there was a total of 2,656 +/- acres available for purchase and of those acres, 2,234 +/- were tillable acres. 

A few of the highlights from last week:

• 65 acres of tillable and recreational land sold in Lucas County for $2,231/acre with a CSR2 of 42.9 on the tillable acres.
• 160 acres of tillable and CRP land sold in Story County for $11,000/acre with a CSR2 of 88.3 on the tillable acres.
• 149 acres of tillable land sold in Story County for $11,300/acre with a CSR2 of 84.3 on the tillable acres.
• 80 acres of tillable land sold in Ida County for $7,750/acre with a CSR2 of 62.4 on the tillable acres.
• 80 acres of tillable land sold in O’Brien County for $13,400/acre with a CSR2 of 94.4 on the tillable acres.
• 396 acres of tillable land sold in Allamakee County for $6,793/acre with a CSR2 of 62.0 on the tillable acres.
• 99 acres of tillable and recreational land sold in Union County for $3,350/acre with a CSR2 of 58.8 on the tillable acres.
