PRICE/ACRE UPDATE

There were eighteen tracts of land that sold at auction between July 31st and August 4th. During these auctions, there was a total of 2,009 +/- acres available for purchase and of those acres, 1,796 +/- were tillable acres. 

A few of the highlights from last week:

• 76 acres of tillable land sold in Floyd County for $7,500/acre with a CSR2 of 70.7 on the tillable acres.
• 116 acres of tillable and CRP land sold in Howard County for $7,500/acre with a CSR2 of 83.3 on the tillable acres.
• 172 acres of tillable land sold in Jackson County for $7,100/acre with a CSR2 of 49.9 on the tillable acres.
• 88 acres of tillable land sold in Plymouth County for $12,100/acre with a CSR2 of 78 on the tillable acres.
• 73 acres of tillable land sold in O’Brien County for $13,700/acre with a CSR2 of 94.1 on the tillable acres.
