PRICE/ACRE UPDATE

There were eighteen tracts of land that sold at auction between August 25th and September 1st. During these auctions, there was a total of 1,827 +/- acres available for purchase and of those acres, 1,500 +/- were tillable acres. 

A few of the highlights from last week:

• 57.7 acres of tillable land sold in Boone County for $7,500/acre with a CSR2 of 80.4 on the tillable acres.
• 40 acres of tillable land sold in Plymouth County for $11,200/acre with a CSR2 of 78.2 on the tillable acres.
• 80 acres of tillable land sold in Butler County for $11,200/acre with a CSR2 of 92.1 on the tillable acres.
• 62.35 acres of CRP and tillable land sold in Keokuk County for $7,350/acre with a CSR2 of 79.3 on the tillable acres.
