PRICE/ACRE UPDATE

There were 17+ tracts of land sold successfully at auction between April 24th and April 27th.  During these auctions, there was a total of 1,840 +/- acres available for purchase and of those acres, 1,098 +/- were tillable acres.  The Price/Acre ranges from $1,600/acre for pasture land in South-Central Iowa to $10,900/acre for tillable land in South-Central Iowa.   

A few of the highlights from last week:

• 59.5 acres sold in Marion County for $10,900/acre with a CSR2 of 84.2
• 80 acres sold in Webster County for $8,750/acre with a CSR2 of 84.5
• 78.37 acres sold in Lucas County for $3,900/acre with a CSR2 of 46.6
• 233.57 acres sold in Lucas County for $4,700/acre with a CSR2 of 53.1
• 37 acres sold in Washington County for $6,600/acre with a CSR2 of 71
