Matt Adams named Broker of the Year in the Auction Land Sales category for the second year in a row; Three Peoples Company agents awarded Regional Brokers of the Year; Three team members named Top 20 National Producers
Peoples Company, a national leader in land brokerage, agricultural appraisal, land and energy management, crop insurance, and capital markets, received top land auction honors at the REALTORS® Land Institute’s APEX Award ceremony in Tucson, Arizona on Tuesday, March 18, 2025. The APEX Awards, held in conjunction with The Land Report, is a top annual awards program designed to recognize excellence and performance of land sale professionals.
For the second consecutive year, Peoples Company Land Agent, Matt Adams, was recognized as the APEX 2024 Broker of the Year in the Auction Land Sales category.
Three Peoples Company Land Agents were recognized as APEX 2024 Regional Brokers of the Year. Adam Crist, ALC, received the award in both the Auction Land Sales category and the Ag Land Sales Crops category, winning his second in a row. Adam covers Region 3 which includes Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Wisconsin. Andrew Zellmer, ALC, received the award in the Agribusiness Land Sales category for Region 7 covering Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Missouri, and Nebraska. George Baird, AFM, AAC, received the award in the Ag Land Sales Crops category for Region 9 covering Alabama, Arkansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, and Tennessee. The Regional Broker of the Year award recognizes the top professionals across several land categories in RLI's 10 U.S. regions.
Adams and Crist, along with Peoples Company President Steve Bruere, were also recognized as APEX 2024 Top Twenty National Producers. This award recognizes the top 20 highest-producing agents in the country based on qualifying production volume. With three team members in the top 20, Peoples Company out-paced competing firms, further cementing its status as the national leader in land sales.
