Peoples Company, a full-service land transaction and management business with offices in all major agricultural regions in the U.S., today announced the hire of Jonathan Shively as PC Capital Markets' Managing Director of Capital Partnerships. In this role, Jonathan will manage and facilitate relationships with Peoples Company's capital market partners, including institutional investors, wealth managers, family offices and high net-worth individual investors, connecting them with agricultural assets throughout the country.

Jonathan has extensive experience in developing longstanding relationships and connecting investment capital with opportunities. In his role at Peoples Company, Jonathan will be responsible for conducting business development activities and promoting the comprehensive asset management structures offered by capital markets. Jonathan and the Peoples Company Capital Markets team will offer separate accounts for high net-worth individuals and structured products for the wealth management industry.

Prior to joining Peoples Company, Jonathan worked at AcreTrader, a farmland real estate investment company. While at AcreTrader, Jonathan made connections throughout the industry to present opportunities provided by the farmland asset class as well as introduce the Acres platform which offers best-in-class technology and services for land buyers and sellers.

A graduate of the Leeds School of Business at the University of Colorado-Boulder, Jonathan served as Managing Director for 18 years at Stephens Inc., a financial services firm. During his tenure at Stephens, he was the head of the institutional equity teams for Europe and Southwest United States, providing capital markets solutions by connecting public and private companies with institutional investment capital.
