Dwayne Vande Krol joined Nyemaster in 2008, after spending 15 years with an international public accounting firm. He assists clients with tax issues associated with major business transactions such as mergers, acquisitions, expansions, and reorganizations. He helps businesses with the tax issues involved in structuring deals, negotiating stock and asset transfer agreements, drafting operating agreements and other governance documents, and participating in tax credits and incentives programs. He also represents clients in tax controversies and disputes, advising corporations and individuals being audited by the Internal Revenue Service, the Iowa Department of Revenue, or other taxing authorities. Most of his time outside the office is spent with family, including attending his children’s many activities.

Kent grew up on his family's north central Iowa farm raising corn, soybeans, and swine. His passion for precision agriculture led him to his role as a lead agronomist with Advanced Agrilytics. He backs up that passion for precision with nearly two decades of experience providing agronomic solutions to growers in the form of seed, fertilizer, crop protection inputs, and precision technologies. He's a CCA, as well as a two-time graduate of Iowa State University, earning both his bachelor’s and master’s degrees.

Ben was named Director of Strategy & Business Development in May 2021. He comes to Advanced Agrilytics with nearly 20 years of experience with a focus the last 10 years in agriculture. Ben has a passion for developing and executing on business strategies that combine the human element with data analytics and an insatiable focus on creating value for the customer. Most recently Ben managed a portfolio of farmland assets for Farmland Reserve with a focus on the Great Lakes and Cornbelt regions, while also leading evaluation and acquisitions of farmland as an asset class. Prior to that role he held multiple global leadership roles with Dow AgroSciences, now Corteva. He and his wife are the proud parents of six children and raise cattle on their farm in Indiana. Ben earned his bachelor’s degree in Economics from Brigham Young University and an MBA from Purdue University.
