Office opens in Jonesboro, Arkansas; Joel King hired as Peoples Company’s regional broker manager; Kim King joins Peoples Company as auctioneer and REALTOR®

CLIVE, IOWA – Peoples Company, a leading provider of land brokerage, land management, land investment, and appraisal services, announced today the opening of an office in Jonesboro, Arkansas, growing the company’s presence in the Mississippi Delta Region. Joel King has been hired for the newly-created position of Mississippi Delta Regional Broker Manager and will be based in Peoples Company’s Jonesboro office, serving clients in Alabama, Arkansas, Louisiana, and Mississippi.

King is the president-elect of the Realtors® Land Institute Arkansas Chapter, past president of Arkansas Auctioneers Association, is an Accredited Land Consultant (ALC), and received his designation from the Certified Auctioneers Institute (CAI).

In addition to Joel King, Peoples Company has hired Kim King to bolster the company’s on-the-ground presence in Mississippi Delta states. Kim is a licensed REALTOR® and auctioneer.

The hires come amid a series of announcements demonstrating Peoples Company’s national expansion, including the opening of offices in California, Michigan, Nebraska, and Washington, the hiring of a director of sustainability, and the hiring of a national director of appraisal and land management.

Prior to joining Peoples Company, Joel King was the principal broker at King Real Estate in Jonesboro, Arkansas, a third-generation family-owned and operated real estate brokerage firm. Mr. King has extensive experience across real estate classes, including land, commercial, and residential real estate.

Kim King, also formerly of King Real Estate, brings 30 years of experience to Peoples Company. As a REALTOR® and auctioneer, Ms. King has vast experience in handling properties in the six and seven-figure range. Ms. King is a member of the Northeast Arkansas Board of Realtors®, Arkansas Auctioneers Association, and the National Auctioneers Association.
