Dennis Moon serves as a Strategic Advisor within the Capital Markets Team at Peoples Company. Dennis has extensive experience working with high-net worth individuals, families, businesses, nonprofits and institutions devising tailored solutions that align with client’s needs and long-term goals. He looks to conduct business development activities by promoting the comprehensive investment structures offered by Peoples Company. This includes farmland investments and management opportunities along with full service energy management, including oil & gas assets and renewables. 

 

Dennis has extensive experience in the specialty asset management area having served as National Executive for over 15 years at Bank of America, Private Bank. He led teams that focused on farm & ranch land, timberland, commercial real estate, oil & gas interests as well as private businesses. 

 

Prior to joining Bank of America, Dennis was Managing Director at Wachovia Bank heading up their Specialty Asset Management Group. He is also past president of the National Trust Real Estate Association (NTREA) and a former member of National Council of Real Estate Fiduciaries (NCREIF). Dennis has experience in the direct management, investment, oversight and responsibility for specialty assets. He has been a frequent speaker at risk management conferences on the National and Regional levels on the benefits and challenges of owning specialty assets. He has also been quoted in various media outlets including the Wall Street Journal, Bloomberg, CNN Money, CNBC and Barron’s. 

 

Dennis graduated from Presbyterian College with a degree in Business Administration, and from the Executive Management Program at the Darden School of Business at the University of Virginia.
