Chris Scow serves as Managing Broker in Nebraska for Peoples Company. He previously spent 38 years with United Farm & Ranch Management (UFARM), first as Operations Manager and later as Managing Broker. Chris took pride in keeping UFARM running smoothly and supporting team members companywide. Since UFARM joined Peoples Company in 2025, his focus has shifted to brokerage, where he shares his expertise with affiliated agents and clients in the marketing, sale, and purchase of rural property.

Chris was raised on a diversified row-crop and cow/calf farming operation near Shelby in east-central Nebraska. He and his wife spent many years residing on an acreage south of Lincoln where they raised quarter horses and other livestock their daughters exhibited in 4-H and breed shows.

Committed to the future of the ag industry and the youth of our state, Chris was actively involved with 4-H, serving on various committees and president of the Lancaster County 4-H Council. After a short break, Chris returned to serve on the Lancaster County Extension Board, which included 3 years as President and a year as a NACEB delegate (Nebraska Association of County Extension Boards).

In addition, Chris has coached youth soccer and softball and has been active in his church, having served as Financial Secretary and helping lead a building and expansion project. He is also a past president of the Nebraska Agribusiness Club.

Chris studied Agricultural Economics at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and has held a Nebraska real estate license since 1996. He also participated in the Nebraska LEAD Program – LEAD Class XIX, (1999-2001).
