Adam Crist, ALC

Adam Crist is a land broker and shareholder at Peoples Company, an industry-leading national firm specializing in land brokerage and auctions, land management, land investing, energy management, and appraisal services. Since joining the organization in 2020, Adam has become a versatile and trusted member of the team, contributing to significant projects across the Midwest and helping drive the company’s continued expansion. His primary focus is advising landowners, investors, and farm operators on the acquisition and disposition of agricultural and recreational land through both traditional listings and a wide range of multi-parcel land auction formats. Adam played a key role in establishing Peoples Company’s remote office in Mineral Point, Wisconsin, strengthening the firm’s presence across the Upper Midwest. 

Adam is deeply committed to Peoples Company’s collaborative culture and serves as a mentor to new agents entering the land brokerage profession. He has been recognized as a top producer both within the company and throughout the land brokerage industry, with sales over the most recent three years totaling more than 37,000 acres and $380 million in market value. Adam is experienced in all categories of land transactions from high-quality, income-producing farmland to premier recreational properties. He maintains a strong focus on auctions, public and private listings, and land investment opportunities across the Midwest. He recently earned the distinguished Accredited Land Consultant (ALC) designation from the REALTORS® Land Institute and currently serves as Vice President of the REALTORS® Land Institute Upper Midwest Chapter, underscoring his leadership within the profession and commitment to advancing industry standards. 

A native of Darlington in Southwest Wisconsin, Adam grew up on his family’s 2,000-acre row crop and cattle operation, managing over 350 head of Black Angus cattle. This hands-on agricultural background gives him deep, practical insight into production agriculture and the unique needs of landowners. Adam now resides in Mineral Point with his wife, Jora, and their three children and remains actively involved in the region’s agricultural, business, and rural communities.
