Located in California’s fertile Imperial Valley, this farm tract consists of two contiguous, rectangular fields with concrete ditches, full tile drainage, and soils conducive to an array of crops. Ample surface water is provided from Imperial Irrigation District (IID) via Gates 26 & 27 of the Pomelo Lateral of the East Highline Canal. Soils are approximately 7% Class 2 and 93% Class 3. Alfalfa is currently planted by a tenant farmer who has farmed the land continually since 1995.
