Description
Seeking Land Agent licensed in the state of Nebraska. The Land Agent is responsible for managing the full brokerage lifecycle—from business development, property research, and proposal development to marketing execution, transaction coordination, and client communication. Working closely with internal teams and industry stakeholders, the Land Agent delivers best-in-class service through leveraging the Peoples Company Platform. The Land Agent is responsible for implementing the company’s Brokerage Proven Process, managing listings across digital platforms, coordinating closing procedures, and ensuring full contract compliance. The Land Agent also plays a critical role in business development through active networking, social media engagement, and participation in industry events. This role reflects the professionalism, expertise, and client-centered values that define the Peoples Company brand, setting the standard for service delivery across all brokerage activities.
Responsibilities
Brokerage Proposals and Marketing
Research properties, assemble brokerage proposals, and deliver per client’s direction.
Create maps, gather information, and write marketing descriptions for listings.
Collaborate with the marketing team to create unique print and digital marketing materials and assist with deploying marketing initiatives.
Install, maintain, and remove brokerage signs for listed and pending properties.
Hang sale bills and place advertisements in local areas.
Manage Multiple Listing Service (MLS) listing, Peoples Company website listing, and third-party sites according to status of listing/auction(s).
Brokerage Transactions
Maintain sales pipeline according to internal processes via the Peoples Company platform.
Support listing/auction management including:
Preparing marketing activity reports.
Managing marketing campaign adjustments.
Preparing listing/auction expense reports.
Follow internal processes to maintain compliance with state and local laws.
Communicate key dates with all vested parties throughout the transaction.
Coordinate the closing process including title report evaluation, closing statement preparation, miscellaneous closing document review, and proceeds.
Client Communication
Maintain strict confidentiality of company records and client information.
Deliver exceptional customer service through professional and responsive communication.
Share market conditions and farmland trends to support acquisition and disposition decision making.
Technology Utilization
Utilize FarmWorth to map, analyze, and interpret land data.
Use drone technology to capture property photos and videos for marketing purposes.
Maintain detailed records in Salesforce, including personal contact database, brokerage transactions, and personal goals and tasks.
Use Dropbox for file storage according to standard operating procedures.
Complete transactional information including view details and executed real estate contracts in Dotloop.
Business Development and Industry Engagement
Maintain a professional social media presence interacting with company social media channels on a weekly basis.
Market services to referral sources, including attorneys, CPAs, and financial institutions.
Cultivate relationships with new clients and referral sources in service areas.
Leverage direct mailer templates to complete marketing campaigns in target areas.
Prioritize contact database growth through inputting contacts into Salesforce, including clients, industry contacts, and referral sources in target areas.
Represent the company at industry events and trade shows according to company policies, including completing event surveys as well as hosting business development dinners.
Proactively promote the Land Investment Expo through social media, networking, and inviting key industry contacts, referral sources, and potential contacts to the Expo either in person or virtually, leveraging this as a primary tool for business development.
Cross-Selling and Collaboration
Maintain constant communication with broader PC team (appraisal, management, and capital markets) to generate referral business.
Share relevant market intelligence with internal teams, including land values and transactional volume.
Adhere to the company collaboration policy for all referrals and lead sharing.
Promote the full suite of company services by connecting clients to other divisions and team members.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all service offerings to identify cross-selling opportunities.
Identify local agents to participate in co-listings.
