John Reburn

John Reburn is a land agent with Peoples Company, a leading firm in farmland brokerage, management, appraisal, and investment. With a primary focus on land brokerage, John assists landowners, farmers and investors in successfully selling and acquiring farmland. He utilizes a variety of channels including public auctions, traditional listings and private sales depending on the property and the client's preference.

John is a trusted resource for clients navigating complex real estate scenarios, including Estate Sales, 1031 Tax-Deferred Exchanges, Land Contracts, Rights of First Refusal, and Partial Ownership Interests. His comprehensive understanding of farmland transactions allows him to guide clients through each step with clarity and confidence. 

Before joining the land brokerage team at Peoples Company, John worked as a Land Appraiser with the firm, valuing farms across the Midwest. He holds a bachelor’s degree in real estate and finance from the University of Northern Iowa and has served nine years in the Iowa Army National Guard, including a deployment to Iraq in support of Operation Inherent Resolve.
