Jennifer Wear

Jenn grew up on a dairy farm in Minnesota where her family raised and milked Jersey cows. She worked on her family’s farm all through junior high and high school and was actively involved in both 4-H and FFA. During the summers, she also worked at Hermanson Harvest where she developed an appreciation for vegetable production. 

In college, she continued her agricultural education at Iowa State University. She graduated with a degree in Agricultural Business and International Agriculture. Through the university, she was able to study abroad in Dubai, UAE, and Thessaloniki, Greece. These places taught her more about global agriculture and how different their agriculture systems are compared to the U.S. Her international experiences helped her grow as a person and an agriculturalist. 
 
Jenn joined Peoples Company in May 2022 as a Land Management Intern. She spent the next 7 months working with the land managers on reports, drone photography, and day to day operations. Jenn switched over to Land Appraisal in January 2023, and after graduating college, she started as a full-time Valuation Analyst with the Appraisal division. There she learned about the appraisal process and tracked auction sales in the Midwest. In March 2024, she transitioned to the Brokerage team and is a Land Agent Assistant under Matt Adams. As a part of the brokerage team, Jenn manages listing and auction webpages, marketing efforts, and deal flow. 

In her free time, Jenn enjoys reading a good book, going on walks, drawing/painting, and experimenting with new recipes. 

Jenn graduated from Iowa State University with a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Business and International Agriculture in May 2023.
