Land Manager
Jason J. Lestina is an Illinois Licensed Real Estate Managing Broker, an Indiana Licensed Real Estate Managing
Broker, a Wisconsin Licensed Broker, an Accredited Land Consultant (ALC), and an Accredited Farm Manager
(AFM). He provides professional land management services for Peoples Company.
Jason holds both the Accredited Land Consultant (ALC) designation—one of the most respected credentials
offered by the REALTORS® Land Institute—and the Accredited Farm Manager (AFM) designation from the
American Society of Farm Managers and Rural Appraisers (ASFMRA). Earning either designation requires
extensive experience, education, testing, and strict adherence to professional standards, ethics, and
continuing education. Holding both places Jason among an elite group of land professionals nationwide.
As an ALC and AFM, Jason leverages advanced education, marketing platforms, and industry networks to
maximize the management and potential sale of agricultural land. He currently manages farmland in Illinois
and Wisconsin for absentee landowners.
Before joining Peoples Company, Jason spent 8.5 years with Land Pro LLC, working closely with Ray Brownfield
to manage farmland across Illinois and Indiana and assist with land brokerage in Illinois.
Jason also remains actively involved in his family’s crop and cattle operations in Will County, Illinois. He and
his wife, Kelly, live in Aurora, Illinois, with their son.
EDUCATION
Jason is a graduate of Northern Illinois University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Finance from the
College of Business. His business education provides a strong foundation for budgeting, financial analysis, and
enhancing the profitability of the farmland he manages.
