Jared Chambers, CAI

Jared Chambers is a Broker Associate and shareholder at Peoples Company, one of the nation's leading land brokerage, land management, appraisal, and auction firms specializing in agricultural and rural real estate. Since joining Peoples Company in 2014, Jared has built a reputation as an award-winning auctioneer and trusted real estate professional. Jared specializes in agricultural land brokerage, farmland auctions, and rural real estate transactions. Throughout his career, he has represented sellers, helped buyers successfully acquire farmland and rural real estate, and served as lead auctioneer on hundreds of land transactions and auction events across Iowa and the Midwest. From helping farm families and landowners transition into a single property to helping facilitate some of the region's most significant multi-parcel land auctions, Jared is committed to delivering professional service and exceptional results. 

Whether serving as the lead auctioneer, professional ringman, or assisting with auction operations, Jared is committed to delivering a professional, transparent, and competitive auction experience. Throughout his career, he has helped facilitate auctions ranging from individual tracts to large-scale multi-parcel land offerings that maximize value while providing buyers with flexibility and opportunity. 

A graduate of the Reppert School of Auctioneering in Indianapolis, Jared is an active member of both the National Auction Association (NAA) and the Iowa Auctioneers Association (IAA). Early in his career, he earned the 2014 Iowa Auctioneers Association Grand Champion Rookie Bid Caller and Grand Champion Ringman titles. In 2017, Jared achieved one of the state's highest auctioneering honors when he was crowned Iowa State Champion Auctioneer at the Iowa Auctioneers Association Bid Calling Finals, becoming the first Triple Crown winner in the association's annual competitions. 

Through his involvement with the National Auction Association, Jared has earned several respected professional designations, including the Certified Auctioneers Institute (CAI), Graduate Personal Property Appraiser (GPPA), and Benefit Auctioneer Specialist (BAS). These credentials reflect his dedication to professional development and providing exceptional service to his clients. He has also served as a State Ambassador for the National Auction Association and is a graduate of the Professional Ringmen's Institute (PRI). 

Raised in Wayne County, Iowa, Jared developed a strong connection to land and agriculture while working alongside his father, who owned and operated a grading, excavating, and land improvement business serving southern Iowa and northern Missouri. That experience provided firsthand insight into farmland, rural property improvements, and the stewardship of agricultural land, a foundation that continues to benefit the landowners, buyers, and investors he serves today. 

When he is not meeting with clients, evaluating farms, or working auctions, Jared enjoys spending time with his wife, Pam, and their son, Jett. The Chambers family lives on a small acreage near Corydon, Iowa, where they enjoy camping and spending time outdoors with family and friends. Jett is an accomplished off-road racer who competes nationally in SXS racing events, including King of the Hammers, Ultra4 Racing events, and various regional racing series throughout the Midwest.
