Galen grew up on a farm in Polk Co., Nebraska. He graduated from Osceola High School and enlisted in the Navy at age 17. He served aboard the aircraft carrier USS Franklin D. Roosevelt. He was the State Nebraska Bank President from 2007-2014. Galen has extensive knowledge of purchasing and financing farmland.
Galen and his wife, Kathy, have been married for 51 years and have two children and six grandchildren. He is a people person and loves to help folks buy and sell farmland.
EDUCATION
Galen graduated from Wayne State College with a Bachelor of Science degree with an emphasis in Management in 1975.
