Ben has been a trusted professional in agricultural real estate for nearly 20 years, serving as both an appraiser and land agent. Ben quickly established himself as a reliable resource for clients, known for his approachable demeanor, strong follow-through, and clear communication.
Most recently, Ben was an Associate Broker with Reck Agri Realty & Auction—one of the leading land brokerage firms in northeastern Colorado and western Nebraska. Since 2020, Ben has successfully transacted over 75,000 acres of land valued at more than $170 million across parts of eastern Colorado and western Nebraska. Recognized by Land.com as a Land Star Top Producer on multiple occasions, he specializes in advising landowners, investors, and farm operators on the acquisition and disposition of agricultural and recreational land through both traditional listings and multiple auction formats.
Prior to being a land agent, Ben began his real estate career in 2007 as an appraiser with the Farm Credit System and currently holds Certified General Appraiser licenses in Colorado and Nebraska, along with the prestigious Accredited Rural Appraiser (ARA) designation from the American Society of Farm Managers and Rural Appraisers (ASFMRA). His deep expertise in agricultural real estate transactions equips him to navigate complex deals and deliver successful outcomes for his clients.
A native of northeast Colorado, Ben grew up on his family’s farm near Peetz and remains involved in the operation. He is a graduate of Colorado State University with a degree in Agricultural Business and is an active member of the Colorado Chapter of ASFMRA. Ben and his wife, Elizabeth, live near Sterling, Colorado, with their three children.
