Overview

Capital Markets provides replacement property identification and acquisition for investors seeking to complete tax-advantaged investments into new land assets as well as subsequent exchanges at the time of disposition through individual exchanges and via the DST investment vehicle. Section 1031 Exchange allows investors to fully defer their capital gains tax responsibility. The Capital Markets team assists individuals in analyzing exchange opportunities and identifying properties as well as structuring DST offerings to allow investors to exchange smaller amounts while eliminating management responsibilities.

REPLACEMENT PROPERTY IDENTIFICATION & CLOSING

Capital Markets has access to a national network of land professionals providing ample deal flow. Our team can help individuals find replacement properties to complete their identification requirements and plan their exchange. Upon closing of the sale of the relinquished property, the individual completing the exchange has 45 days to identify the replacement properties. Closing of the replacement property must occur within 180 days of the closing of the relinquished property.

SYNDICATED DST INVESTMENTS

Capital Markets structures Delaware Statutory Trust (DST) offerings to allow investors to take direct ownership of farmland in a syndicated structure while completing a Section 1031 Exchange. Our team professionally manages all aspects of this investment structure including accounting, legal, and farm management creating a passive investment for individuals. Our DST offerings are available for investment through our broker dealer, AcreTrader.
