BIO
Mark Williams has been licensed as a Certified General Appraiser since 1994, and has obtained his designation as an “Accredited Rural Appraiser” from the American Society of Farm Managers and Rural Appraisers. He has extensive knowledge and experience with all types of agricultural properties including animal production facilities, grain storage systems, permanent plantings, certified organic cropland and recreational tracts. He also is considered a leading expert in the valuation of market
analyses, eminent domain, Yellow Book, conservation easements, and partial interest appraisals. Mark is also a qualified reviewer for Yellow Book and eminent domain appraisals and is a two-time President of the Michigan Chapter of ASFMRA. Mark has served on the ASFMRA National Education and Accreditation Committee as Vice Chairman.
Mark and his wife Debi are blessed with six children, 17 grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. They also operate a 90-acre, certified organic hay farm and enjoy traveling in their spare time. In the past three years they have also been active with Samaritan’s Purse mission teams, assisting with rebuilding homes in flood ravaged areas of North Carolina, West Virginia, and Louisiana.
