Land Investment Expo
The Land Investment Expo keynote presentations and breakout sessions will take place at the Iowa Events Center’s Community Choice Credit Union Convention Center in downtown Des Moines. The convention center is conveniently accessed through the skywalk system from the Hilton Des Moines Downtown or the entrance near the corner of 5th Avenue and Crocker Street if accessing off of I-235. Event parking is available in the paid lots on the north side of the Iowa Events Center.
World Food Prize
Pre-Expo Reception
Peoples Company holds the pre-expo event at the World Food Prize Hall of Laureates each year as a thoughtful reminder of the mission and impact of the agricultural industry. In honor of Dr. Norman Borlaug, Nobel Peace Prize winner and World Food Prize founder, the century-old Des Moines public library was revived by the World Food Prize Foundation. The building now serves as a museum to recognize significant achievements in agriculture and fighting hunger and an educational facility featuring interactive displays on hunger and food security.
Hilton Des Moines Downtown
Accommodations
The Hilton is part of the Des Moines Skywalk system, allowing easy access to the Iowa Events Center. A room block has been reserved for January 8-10 at the Hilton Des Moines Downtown for a discounted nightly rate of $140 plus tax for Land Expo guests and attendees. The discounted rate will be available until December 20th, or until the room block is sold out, whichever comes first. So please make your reservations early.
