Real estate professionals and farm producers will gather at one of the nation’s most prominent farmland events — the 2016 Land Investment Expo. Peoples Company, an Iowa-based real estate and brokerage firm, is hosting the event and invites industry professionals from across the nation to participate. The firm is excited to announce that this year’s keynote speakers are Mary Matalin and James Carville. The Land Investment Expo is known for its high-caliber speakers, as Donald Trump delivered the keynote in 2015, and T. Boone Pickens headlined the 2014 event.

The expo, which will be held at the Sheraton West Des Moines Hotel (1800 50th Street, West Des Moines, Iowa), is scheduled for January 29, 2016 — three days before the Iowa presidential caucuses. Expo attendees have the opportunity to gain broader perspectives about land investment strategies, as the conference brings together more than 650 attendees, speakers and sponsors to learn from and network with each other.

“The Land Investment Expo serves as a collaborative venue for many of our clients to engage with each other and gain insights on industry trends and opportunities,” saidPeoples Company President Steve Bruere. “And we are delighted about this year’s keynote duo.”

Mary Matalin is one of the most celebrated and popular conservative voices in the United States. She has served under President Ronald Reagan, as President George H.W. Bush’s campaign director, as assistant to President George W. Bush and as assistant and counselor to Vice President Dick Cheney. Partnering with Matalin to deliver the keynote is her husband, James Carville, an American political commentator. Carville served as the lead strategist for President Bill Clinton’s successful presidential campaign, was co-host of CNN’s Crossfire, has appeared on CNN’s The Situation Room and hosted XM Radio’s 60/20 Sports. He currently teaches political science at Tulane University and serves as a contributor to Fox News Channel.

The expo also features 10 educational breakout sessions, 20 trade show exhibitors, and an array of expert speakers, including Mark Dotzour, chief economist at Texas A&M University; Dennis Gartman, The Gartman Letter; Rob Saik, Agri-Trend Group CEO; Ben Zaitz, Ben Zaitz and Sons; Ken Root, Iowa Agribusiness Radio Network; and Dr. Bruce J. Sherrick, the Marjorie and Jerry Fruin Professor of Land Economics and director of the TIAA-CREF Center for Farmland Research in the Department of Agricultural and Consumer Economics at the University of Illinois.

Registration is now open and space is limited. For more information about the expo and to reserve your spot at this one-of-a-kind ag conference in the heart of American agriculture, visitwww.LandInvestmentExpo.com.
