Since opening our doors in 1972, Peoples Company’s business has been focused on land sales and farm management.  Our rural heritage and our ties to the land are the core of our business and we hold true to the statement that “everything starts with land.”  For clients seeking assistance with farm and land assets, the Land Division offers brokerage, auction, management, valuation, crop insurance, development and investment advisory services. 

As a component of our marketing approach, we offer valuable educational seminars and networking opportunities, including our annual Iowa Land Investment Expo, farm leasing workshops and land development seminars to provide the information you need to manage your investment in land.

In addition to our own seminars and workshops, our land agents actively network throughout the state at trade shows to develop contacts and relationships to grow our network of land buyers and sellers.  Trade shows in which we participate include the Farm Progress Show, the Power Farming Show, the Deer Classic and the Chicago Farmers.

Peoples Company was the first land company in Iowa to provide surveys, aerial photography, soil maps and FSA program information in a downloadable format for every land listing on our website.  We invest in targeted marketing efforts and Internet search engines to drive traffic to our website.  Our website currently has an industry leading average of over 10,000 web visits each month.  In addition, our growing internal database of persons interested in land for agricultural and development uses is invaluable in marketing our auction and brokerage properties.
